When Subaru switched to a cable shifter system in their newer manual transmissions, the design left a lot of room for improvement as there is excessive movement in the shifter. The Faction Fab Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum Shift Stopper will allow the user to set the 1-2 gate stop position limiting unnecessary shift lever travel to decrease sloppy shifter feel and to increase the shifter precision.
