DSS Chevrolet Camaro 2010-2015 V8 4L80 Automatic / Stock Diff 3.5in Aluminum 1-Piece Shaft GMCA11-A2
Available now for the 2010-2015 Camaro is our 3.50″ aluminum shaft with direct-fit rear flange. We have done extensive testing with stock rears and with our 9″ kit and believe this to the the most cost-effective trouble-free drive shaft for the Camaro available today. The shaft only weighs 17lbs and comes with special grade 12.9 extra strength hardware with back up lock nuts to ensure no loose bolts.
You will have to remove the heat shield from above center hanger mount to install a 3.50″ shaft. There is a possibility of clearance issues with aftermarket exhausts. This is a general warning. We have 9 test shafts out and not one had an issue. I have listed this because not all exhaust systems have been tested. (our Carbon fiber shaft will be made from 3-3/8 and not the 3-3/4 like other manufacturers)
Special Note: Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit must be installed on the vehicle prior to installing a Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Driveshaft. Any damage to the driveshaft (or any subsequent damage) caused by failing to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement will void any and all warranty provided by The Driveshaft Shop.

By being able to twist more than a steel shaft it will not only make the ride smoother but it will also take some of the harmful shock factor out of the drive train helping to keep up the RPM. This will also help to save most output shafts and other related drive train parts down the line. The aluminum shaft also has a higher resonant frequency than steel (a steel shaft will act as a amplifier of vibration). An aluminum shaft will deaden the vibration due to its characteristics
